Headteacher’s Welcome

I would like to warmly welcome you to Margaret McMillan Primary where you will find a vibrant, friendly and committed learning community.

We are a popular, large Primary School located on the Heaton-Manningham border in Bradford. Catering for pupils in the 3 to 11-year-old age range, we never forget that our parents and community have entrusted us to do the very best for their children and our team of dedicated and skilled staff work hard to ensure that we succeed for every child in our care.

We want our children to enjoy their learning experiences, to make the most of opportunities offered to them and to contribute their talents to the collective benefit of the school and the community.

Our school motto; Inspiration, Aspiration and Determination embodies our school ethos. We offer a vibrant curriculum, full of learning opportunities which inspire and enthuse; we encourage our children to follow their passions and look beyond their horizons. We develop their sense of purpose and character to enable them to achieve. In addition, we offer exciting and varied before and after school clubs; inspiring educational visits and residentials and have a full timetable of sports tournaments and competitions.

We strive to work effectively in partnership with our parents, carers and community because we know that this ensures the very best outcomes for our children.
If you would like to know more about our school, please browse the website, contact us to arrange a visit, or catch me on the school path in the morning.
