To support year 2’s curriculum topic on ‘Coasts’, they will be visiting Southport beach in Merseyside on the 28th June 2023. This will give children first-hand experience of a coastal region. Children need to wear school uniform with comfortable footwear. If the weather is kind they will also need a hat and sun cream. If the weather is unkind, they will need appropriate footwear and a suitable coat. Children need to be dropped at school for 8:15am so they can set off from school at 8:30am. They will aim to be back at school for between 4:00pm and 4:30pm. However, this depends on traffic, parents will be kept updated on the day via Weduc.
